FOXWOLFE NEWSLETTER #1: upcoming releases, updates, & more

Hi, everyone! I'm putting a lot of effort into this email so this will be the first of this format going out, and will probably be limited to...once per month, if that, unless something super exciting happens halfway through and I have more to babble on about.

As for April plans & announcements, we have a plethora, so I figured I'd turn it all into a...regularly, maybe, type of newsletter. Posts on here are sparse to keep inboxes from being spammed, so it sounded like the perfect solution. And also, it sounded fun!!!!!!!

Before we get into the news...

FREE SHORT FOR MAILING LIST SUBSCRIBERS! 100% FREE!!!

Around 1k words and written with pure and utter love for the insufferable bastard he is, read Montgomery Anderson—a version of him after graduation, and a version of him in the present—reminisce on the very same man in the only way he knows how. Both pairs of Mallory's panties were harmed in the making of this NSFW short.

More freebies are sure to come for all subscribers, and they'll be linked at the very bottom of every email going forward. Don't forget, it's never too late to sign up! Your welcome email will include a link, too.

Also, we’re doing an author swap with Mendel Spector!

A super nice author writing super awesome things. I’m really excited for his upcoming work, which you can preorder on itch.io here. Thank you , I can’t wait to post my first ARC review!

doll boy: a new novella up for preorder now!

An electric love story between a neuroscientist and the boy his son used to bully in high school, now grown and infatuated with the idea of taking revenge.

Age-gap yaoi, at last! Lee is in his early forties, and Margot is a freshly turned twenty-one year old with his own struggles in life. Lee, however...Well, his struggles are a little less complicated. He's lonely, he's closeted, he's divorced, but it's practically love at first sight for him when he stumbles into the DMs of this feminine, feminine boy.

Contains a perfect mix of their fast-burning "romance," and how it naturally evolves into something more. Lee's been dying for an experiment like this.

COMING SOON, SUPER SOON, VERY, VERY SOON...PRE-ORDER ON ITCH.IO NOW! Cheers to fetishistic age-gap couples!

CLOSET CASE, Vol. 3: up for preorder now!

If you're reading this, there's a chance that you're already familiar with Mallory and Montgomery. Thankfully, you won't be disappointed with our first offering of the month. Experience a budding relationship over texts and video calls and, simultaneously, an event that leaves Mallory wondering why he ever gave a damn about Montgomery in the first place.

UPDATE TO INVISIBLE ENVY

Admittedly, Cecil and Terry are...complicated characters, with an even more complicated relationship dynamic. I mean, there's a girl involved, kind of. No way anyone's going to click that over whatever Monty and Molly have going on.

Instead of letting it rot on the shelves, we're using it as an opportunity to test out how our style of writing does under the KU umbrella. If it works out, it'll stay an Amazon exclusive. Otherwise, you'll see it back on our itch.io shelf in a few months time.

We hope you like the new cover art, description, and updated epub that comes with it. Go check it out! Still $2.99, but free if you subscribe to their service.

MISCELLANEOUS

"Obsession is a Vampire" was posted in full. The reception has been amazing! Reviews are a struggle to get, as usual, but enough people are reading, and that's enough. We're so happy to get our works into the hands of those who want to read them.

Also, got some art saved of our cute little sonas—a big scary yellow-eyed fox and a tinier little moe blob wolf with a bright pink gaze. Do you like them?

PATCH NOTES

Updated .epub files for CLOSET CASE (1, 2) & Invisible Envy. Go give them a redownload, you won't be disappointed. Features a zoomed-in version of the cover artwork as well, and an updated cover for Invisible Envy.

Update to the update from above: timing of that was awful, we’re updating the epubs AGAIN. I wanted to post this earlier, but I really wanted to have everything updated by now…which I didn’t do, because I’m still working on getting them revamped and updated. I’ll send out another update when everything’s all set, and you can start redownloading.

Updated the descriptions, some of the tags, and some other stuff for the books mentioned above. In doing so, Mallory's mental illnesses are on full display...poor guy. In addition, we've placed our works into the psychologically thrilling genres as well, because...let's be honest, where else would they belong?

Last but not least…

A message from the less socially active half of the duo—an introduction, more or less. Thank you all for supporting both of us.

When I was a kid, I used to make little RPG games with my dad. He encouraged me to write up the stories in a script that we would then transfer over, transforming a small story about a bunch of pixels traveling all over the map into my own personal all-girl Saturday morning cartoon. It wasn't an easy experience. In fact, it was an early introduction to the frustrations that come with writing—sitting in front of a blank screen, trying to figure out what to write.

I'm faced with a similar dilemma now, looking over words forming on a screen, crafted by my own hands. They form a message, an expression of the heart, and yet I use that power now to write dudes plowing other dudes.

The road that got me here was long and treacherous. First, I dropped out of college. Then I met my writing partner, and throughout the years and many, many breaks, I slowly honed the talent I often took for granted. By the time my partner and I decided we wanted to focus on OCs, it was like a switch lit up inside of me.

Suddenly, the creativity I thought I could only harness by building off of what others came through in a big way. I was now writing for myself and for my partner and the world we created together. With that came both freedom and a whole new set of hurdles waiting for the both of us.

Being an author sounds fun until you realize the only way you'll get people to read your writing is by reaching out. Of the two of us, I'm the one who's far less capable when it comes to communication. The fact that my partner and I are so close feels more akin to fate than any effort on my part. For them, I give the world, but to others, I struggle to reveal even a fraction of my true self.

I hope that, in by writing these, I might be able to express my inner world with all of you. Thank you very much for following us, and I hope you'll continue to enjoy our works!
